Why animal badges read better than most designs
An animal silhouette is legible at a distance in a way that text often is not. Your eye recognizes the shape of a wolf, a bull, a shark or a snake in a fraction of a second, at an angle, in poor light, from a car that is already past you. Lettering has to be read; a silhouette just registers.
That makes this collection the easiest place to start if you have never badged a car before. There is no font decision, no character-count problem, and no risk of a long phrase turning into a smear at speed.
Choosing a finish for a silhouette
Solid shapes live or die on contrast with the panel behind them, not with each other. On a black or dark gray car, mirror silver and white read hardest. On white and silver cars, gloss black is the strongest choice and photographs best. Mirror finishes work particularly well on animal shapes because the curved outlines catch light from several angles at once as you walk around the car.
Placement
Front fender behind the wheel arch is the default. Tailgates and boot lids work for larger designs. Because these are shapes rather than words, they also read correctly when mirrored - so a pair facing inward on both fenders looks deliberate, which is not true of text.
The quantity discount is per product: the same badge twice takes 10% off, four or more takes 20%.
Construction
3mm cast acrylic, laser cut and hand polished, chamfered edges, UV-stable pigment layers, 3M automotive tape applied before shipping. No drilling and nothing that will corrode.
