Blue Mamba black is cut as a layered acrylic shape rather than printed, so the outline catches light from several angles as you walk around the car. That movement is what makes an animal badge read as an object instead of a sticker.

Where it goes

Fender, tailgate, trunk lid or lower door - anywhere the surface is smooth, flat and sealed. Avoid textured bumper covers, plastic cladding and rough trim: those surfaces are made rough so adhesive will not key to them. If a panel is crowned, sight along the badge first and check that daylight does not show under the middle.

How it is made

3mm cast acrylic, laser cut and hand polished, with chamfered edges and UV-stable pigment layers. The color is in the material rather than printed on it, so wear shows as a scratch instead of exposing white substrate.

Color options

The base plate and the text layer are chosen separately, from fifteen solid colors and five mirror finishes each. Mirror is real mirrored acrylic rather than a coating, so it does not scuff off at the edges; it adds $15 per layer.

Installation

Pre-applied 3M automotive tape. Clean, peel, position, press for thirty seconds. Because nothing is drilled, the badge comes off later with fishing line and a little heat without leaving a hole in the panel.

The quantity discount is calculated per product: two of the same badge takes 10% off, three takes 15%, and four or more takes 20%.
