WRX Black Black Mate – 3D Acrylic Car Badges, Set of 2

WRX Black Black Mate is the kind of badge that starts a conversation at a fuel stop. Cut from two layers of 3mm cast acrylic, with the text raised off a continuous base plate so it catches light rather than lying flat.

Where it goes

Front fender behind the wheel arch is the standard placement, with the rear quarter and lower door as alternatives. Not the hood scoop - it is curved in two directions and sits directly over the intercooler, which runs hot enough on a turbo car to work the adhesive loose over a summer.

Materials and finish

Laser cut from 3mm cast acrylic and hand polished, with chamfered edges and UV-stable pigment. Built for full sun, rain, road salt and automatic car washes without fading or lifting.

Sizes and colors

Pick a size, then set the base and text finishes independently. On black and dark gray cars, mirror silver reads furthest. On white and silver cars, gloss black is the finish that photographs best. Mirror finishes add $15 per layer.

Installation

Peel, align, press. The 3M automotive tape is pre-applied, so the only thing that matters is a clean, dry surface - wipe the panel with isopropyl first and hold the badge down for a full thirty seconds. No tools and no holes in the paint.

This is a set of two - one for each side. Fender badges look wrong fitted to one side only, which is why these ship as a pair.
