NISMO – 3D Acrylic Car Badges, Set of 2

Some cars earn a name. NISMO is laser cut and hand polished from cast acrylic, with the color running through the material - a scrape shows as a scratch rather than stripping the design back to white.

Where it goes

Front fender behind the wheel arch is the standard placement, with the rear quarter and lower door as alternatives. Not the hood scoop - it is curved in two directions and sits directly over the intercooler, which runs hot enough on a turbo car to work the adhesive loose over a summer.

How it is made

3mm cast acrylic, laser cut and hand polished, with chamfered edges and UV-stable pigment layers. The color is in the material rather than printed on it, so wear shows as a scratch instead of exposing white substrate.

Sizes and colors

Pick a size, then set the base and text finishes independently. On black and dark gray cars, mirror silver reads furthest. On white and silver cars, gloss black is the finish that photographs best. Mirror finishes add $15 per layer.

Installation

Pre-applied 3M automotive tape. Clean, peel, position, press for thirty seconds. Because nothing is drilled, the badge comes off later with fishing line and a little heat without leaving a hole in the panel.

This is a set of two - one for each side. Fender badges look wrong fitted to one side only, which is why these ship as a pair.
