European cars are the hardest to badge well, for one reason: the panels are more curved than American ones. A rigid acrylic badge needs flat, sealed contact across its whole footprint, and a lot of the surfaces that look flat on a 3 Series or an A4 have a gentle crown running through them.
Test before you commit
Hold the badge against the panel and look along it at a low angle. If daylight shows under the middle while the ends touch, move it. The reliable flats on most German saloons are the front fender behind the arch, the lower door below the crease, and the boot lid to one side of the handle.
Short text works better here
M, S-line and GTI culture is built on restraint - small badges, correctly placed, nothing shouting. Six to eight inch lengths with three to six characters suit these cars far better than the twelve inch phrases that work on a truck.
What is here, and what the builder covers
This is a small collection. It carries the model and trim lettering most requested by European owners. For club names, plate nicknames and anything model-specific we do not stock, the builder cuts custom text in ten fonts and twenty finishes.
All of it is 3mm cast acrylic, laser cut, hand polished, with UV-stable pigment and 3M automotive tape applied before it ships.
