Trail badges built for a vehicle that gets dirty

Jeeps are a harder test than most cars. Pressure washing, trail dust, branch strikes, mud that dries like concrete, and owners who genuinely use the thing. A badge that survives a sedan's life in a garage will not necessarily survive a Wrangler's.

These are cut from 3mm cast acrylic rather than printed or vinyl-wrapped. The color is in the material, not on top of it, so a scrape shows as a scratch instead of stripping the design back to white. UV-stable pigment means the reds and oranges do not go pink after a season in the sun.

Model badges and trail names

The collection covers Wrangler, Rubicon, Gladiator and Sahara style lettering, plus the off-road callouts most owners want on the fenders and tailgate.

The bigger use case here is trail names. If your Jeep has a name - and most of them do - the builder cuts it in ten fonts and four lengths. Pair it with a small model badge on the opposite fender and the whole thing reads deliberate rather than decorated.

Mounting on a Wrangler specifically

Wranglers have fewer good flat surfaces than they look like they do. The reliable spots:

  • The flat panel on the front fender, ahead of the door and below the hood line.
  • The tailgate, either side of the spare tire carrier.
  • The lower door skins, if you run doors year-round.

Do not mount to the textured fender flares. That surface is deliberately rough so paint and adhesive will not key to it, and the tape will let go the first time you wash the car. Freedom panel edges and the windshield frame move enough under torsion that a rigid badge will eventually pop a corner - avoid both.

Washing and trail care

Acrylic handles touchless washes, foam cannons and normal soap without issue. Keep a pressure washer lance more than about a foot back and off the badge edges - the tape line is the weak point, not the acrylic. If mud dries on it, soak it rather than scrubbing it; grit dragged across acrylic is what causes fine scratching.
