BMW M Mirror Acrylic Emblem – Custom Color Badge, 1 Pc

A mirrored replacement for the M badge, cut from acrylic in a finish the factory never offered. The mirror layer is mirrored acrylic all the way through rather than a reflective coating sprayed on top, so the edges cannot scuff back to a dull core and it does not cloud the way plated plastic does after a couple of summers.

Choosing a color

Five mirror finishes: green, yellow, red, pink and blue. Each one behaves differently depending on the car underneath it. On black and dark grey paint every finish reads as a bright accent. On white and silver, the darker mirrors hold their color while the lighter ones can wash out at a distance. Mirror finishes photograph unusually well, which is most of why people buy them.

Build and install

Laser cut and hand polished, with chamfered edges. 3M automotive tape is applied before it ships: clean the panel with isopropyl, peel, position, press for thirty seconds. No drilling, and it lifts off later with fishing line and gentle heat if you go back to stock.
